I noticed over the winter our Blue Spruce started dying from the top down. There were some dead branches last year but not this pronounced.
The bark picture is a piece I pulled back to see if I could see the S pattern I was reading about to see if it was spruce beetles.
Not sure if this is salvageable or if someone can take a guess at the issue? Im guessing I need to prune off the entire dead top part?
