Should you be buying this plant in March? It seems like an odd question when it’s readily available in the garden centres. But the Hellebore (AKA Christmas Rose) is a winter flowering plant which is almost at the end of its flowering season. One thing worth mentioning is that hellebores are also evergreen and hardy plants so whilst it may not flower in summer, my gardening tips for today are it still works as a great filler for borders and shines in winter #gardeningtips #hellebore #springflowers #rose #planttips

Available in different colours too! Can get a little unruly if left unchecked, but a great ‘giveaway’ item to friends in a garden club! Or sell at your next garage sale!

I have them. They don't grow big for me
Mine grew through the Summer last year it was Beautiful and still flowering..

Alike hydrangea the Hellebore will hold on to the flower for awhile and go through a fading to green patina
