It's pea starting time again! Let everyone see how you grow your pea's. I'm trying something new in leaving the leaves on the beds this year. We call it the pea tower. The tall one gets Super snap pea's and the short one gets snow pea's.

I’ve got delikett sugar snaps and Oregon sugar pod mange tout. Both in modules that I sowed last weekend, to plant out in a couple of weeks. Also got more of them I sowed three weeks ago to use for pea shoots in salads

Never grew them before so I’m trying a few varieties to see what works. Alaska, little marvel, sugar daddy and Sugar Ann are in the ground. So far the Little Marvels are the only ones that have popped through the soil. I’m growing them along a chain link fence, I hope that’s a suitable trellis for peas but I guess I’ll find out soon enough

Started my sugar snaps ~ 2 weeks ago. Hardware cloth enclosure to keep out rabbits.
