I don’t understand the question. Why would you dig the others up?

4 days since planted. 20 years since the last watering

OP seedlings need a lot of water. Much more than you think. These seed pockets dry out rapidly. I use solo cups which are incrementally better but still dry out fast. Try the snail roll technique. It works very well for peas.

I also use coco coir and it dries out so fast I have to water twice a day. More than you think you really need.

Peas ideal germination temps are around 75-85. It most likely damped off. Restart with heat mat but don’t use same medium.

best to direct sow beans when warmer in May

  6. Patience, my friend.

The last seed I planted three weeks ago just sprouted yesterday

I use burpee trays with coir, and I water once a week by pouring into the drip tray, leaving a bit over 1/8 inch puddle in the bottom

Dry as fuck my man. Give those babies some juice

For seedling mix, the surface should be the color of Dark chocolate, (moist but not damp) if its color of milk chocolate its to dry and needs water.

How old are the seeds? Since one germinated I would suspect the seeds are not fresh crop and possibly have a low germ rate.

Otherwise, be patient. 4 days isn’t an eternity for germinating bean seeds, especially if you’re not using a heat mat.

If they show no signs of life after a week I would restart with a fresh packet of seeds.

  10. Don’t let seed starting medium dry out…and beans germinate quickly when direct seeded at the right time…no need to start early indoors.

So, where’s the humidity dome. You should leave that on while the seeds germinate. I take mine off once majority sprout.

It kind of looks dry but also, not dry at the same time. Which I can’t fully tell what the watering is looking like.

Your lighting probably needs to be closer.

I don’t think you need to fully restart, but definitely don’t go digging around for the seeds. You’ll be surprised at what can pop in another day.
