A sloped backyard can lead to erosion, drainage problems, and unstable soil over time.

In this retaining wall transformation, we excavated the slope, installed a compacted base, and added proper drainage to stabilize the yard and create usable flat space.

If you’re planning a backyard renovation this spring, retaining walls can completely change how your space functions.

Would you level your yard like this?

  1. What is the point of the upper terraces? They’re not wide enuf to do anything up there. Why not make THOSE where you plant and the lawn areas where PPL can lounge?

  2. Just plant some vegetables in those slopes . They make the yard come alive than a brick slope that’s too expensive

  3. I lived in a ground floor apartment with units to one side & to the rear that both drained into my yard. The landlord did bugger all to fix it. My solution was to recycle some available planks to make 4'x4' pallets, use posts to elevate them level & dig a pit under the 'new deck'. Water drained into pit while I had a useable yard with a garden around the sides. 😉👍
