The Vinery in Banff has made a call for people to get involved in shaping its sustainable space at Duff House.
The Vinery in Banff is looking for people to join its Friends of the Vinery Community Garden group.
It is creating Friends of the Vinery Community Garden to help enhance it and is on the lookout for those with horticulture knowledge or just a passion for green spaces.
A spokesperson for The Vinery said: “It will meet monthly and people can get involved in planning and prioritising garden tasks and exciting improvements; making collective decisions as a team; building a long-term plan, with a big focus on expanding food-growing initiatives; identifying and allocating free plots for community members or groups to adopt and maintain; creating a shared list of upcoming volunteer and horticulture team tasks; and nurturing the garden’s growth, biodiversity and sustainability.”
Anyone interested in getting involved can email thevinery@aberdeenfoyer.com or contact The Vinery through its social media pages.
