Coastal Southeast North Carolina. Already potted up the tomatoes and some of the peppers. Do the Tomatoes need to be potted up again? And do the peppers in the cell packs need to be potted up? Ideally I will start hardening off the tomatoes and some of the peppers this coming weekend with the goal to plant later next week. Do I bother potting up or should I just send it?

I wouldn’t bother potting up, they don’t look excessively large for the solo cups and you don’t have long to wait so I say just leave them.

Potting them up will just stress them. If you’re planting them in a week, just go with what you have and harden them off.

You can stretch those another week or two easily. I ran mine in solo cups last year to about 3’ tall. Best year of tomatoes I’ve had yet. Back to back late frosts cooked my starts this year I wish I had back ups.
