Hi! I’m excited to grow passion fruit because 1. I love the fruit and 2. I want to propagate it and find a plant exchange event and give passionfruit plants to people haha.

Plant type: Passion Fruit Seeds (Passiflora edulis)

But I’m so confused as to what’s wrong with it. I planted the seeds 10/23/25 and 1/12 sprouted. Everywhere says passion fruit grows quickly but it’s stayed this tall for months. The leaves are basically growing on top of each other. Is it because I have it in a mini green house for seeds? There’s a humidity dome that stays on top of it. The light stays on for about 12 hours at night and the rest of the time it’s partial lighting. Regular watering except for when I was fighting the fungus gnats and a heating pad for plants. Thank you so much for any help and advice you have!

The fungus gnats were easy to deal with. Mosquito bits soaked in water, and I used the water regularly. But the plant had grown like this before the gnats happened. 😅
