Orchard, Kerfing Technique, Fruit Tree, Growth Path.
Strategic kerfing alters the cambium structure to redirect branch development and lower the fruiting canopy for ground-level access. Precise bark incisions manipulate sap distribution, allowing growers to manage vertical height and optimize harvest efficiency without industrial equipment.

You can just hold the branches down then they grow like that.
Unnecessary, all you have to do is prune it to shape and you will get a healthy, happy, and productive tree. The weight of the fruit after consistent pruning will make the tree do this naturally. Only prune in January. Donโt take off more than one third of total branches. Cut the small/weak ones, and then work from the inside out. Cut at the collar and shape it that way. This is asking for problems.
Wtf
Huh just fuxking buy tree ties and form how u want it before its grown, like bonsi ๐ค how ever spell
Was thinking same now all the short as mongrels that missed the arc can eat
It's also easier for the wild animals to steal.
Don't do this. It weakens the tree
because there is a REASON they grow UP and not sideways. Destroying nature and a 1000000 years of evolution just because you cant climb a ladder is wild.
Then the fruit brakes those branches. Unless it's hazel nuts or something.
Because it actually lowers harvest. Nice try but it dont work. The chinese actually have it correct by pushing lateral branches upwards not opposite
The tree will be dead in 2 years. If you donโt wrap those cuts they will get infected with mold or disease. Itโs like making razor cuts in your arm an just leaving it unbandaged. Itโs better to hang weights on a fishing line 2/3 up the branch
Ahh, my spine, what are you doing human?!
I'm deforming you to my preferences, muahaha
It's not pure orchard genius, it's just orchard management ๐
i tried it it works! japanes maple. my upward growing stray branch is now weeping like the rest of them!
TOO FAST TO DISCERN, or LEARN. Bummer, mon.๐คทโโ๏ธ
Cant be bad for the tree ๐๐ฎ๐ข
Normally you just bend the branches a bit while they are smaller and more bendy.
This is great!!๐๐
Awesome
Sure but if you have an orchard and you're growing for profit, this will simply take up more space for the same yield.
Say hello to disease in the branch and then the whole tree, great idea for a temporary survival shelter though!
Kerfing is such a great word
Dude is really scared of heights ๐
real hate this version of song, pls use something else ffs
