So this is my partners peace lily, he spent the last 2 months in hospital so obviously it wasnt cared for in that time, thing is, this soil is still damp even after that time. I want to help it, maybe get it in some better soil, what should I do? I dont want to do anything too drastic right this second in case i do something wrong and make the plant worse, does it really need new soil? Its been in the same soil for years and never had a problem before now. Ive never had a peace lily so im not entirely sure how to care for it, but this one is gonna die if its left alone, please help
