So I have been adding food and garden waste to my compost for 6 months. Its composting great and breaking down. But im a bit unclear on how I will eventually harvest the compost.
Its all at the bottom and the top layer is fresh waste. When I turn the pile around every once in a while, it all gets mixed up.
How/when should I look to get some compost out to use in my garden?
