I started these guys Feb 2 in my aerogarden seed starter and put them in dirt about a week ago. Some of them are already starting bloom buds.
Last garden I did tomatoes first and very much learned my lesson that peppers needed more time than the fast growing tomatoes.
So for anyone wondering about hydro starting, I highly recommend as it truly does give a boost.

Pinch those early flower buds off immediately. Your plants are way too small to be setting fruit right now. If you let them push energy into a pepper at this size they will stall out completely and you will be left with a stunted plant for the rest of the season. You want them building root mass and pushing vegetative growth especially since they are just adapting to dirt. Keep pinching any new buds until you get them into their final outdoor beds and they put on some serious size.
You also need to raise that LED panel up a few inches. Look at the leaves on your taller plants starting to cup and fold upward along the edges. That is a classic sign of light stress because they are sitting way too close to the fixture. Back the light off so the foliage can relax and stay flat.
Watch your watering closely over the next couple weeks. Hydro roots are totally spoiled and have a hard time transitioning to solid media if you keep them too wet. Let the pots get noticeably light when you pick them up before you water again so you force those roots to search for moisture and establish properly without rotting.
