    If it saves you more time than what it’s worth, then yes, it’s worth it. The better chippers usually sell well on the used market should you ever need to recoup some of the sunk costs. From my experience, running chippers really sucks and I spent more time fixing belts and clogged chutes than actually chipping.

    you did the calculation in your post. if you use the mulch, 100% worth it.
