Home Bargains customers can bring some “hassle-free” plant life to enhance their flowerbeds, pathways and patios this spring with new ‘flowers’ that offer more than a “delightful pop of colour”. These solar-powered ‘flowers’ provide a year-round “glow” to outdoor areas.

The Firefly Stake Lights are priced at £3.99 each and are available in three designs. Customers can pick from a bright yellow sunflower or one of the two varieties of delicate roses featuring pink or red petals, which appear realistic when ‘planted’ in gardens.

Describing the floral lights online, a Home Bargains spokesperson said: “Add a touch of beauty to your garden with the Firefly Solar Stake Lights. These charming floral lights automatically turn on at dusk, casting a warm LED white glow that enhances your outdoor space.

“Easy to install, they come with a rechargeable battery for eco-friendly, hassle-free use. Perfect for flowerbeds, pathways, or patios, these lights bring a delightful pop of colour and light to your garden every evening. Enjoy the warmth and elegance of these stunning solar stake lights year-round!”

The solar lights are available to purchase online, but customers won’t be able to select which type of ‘flower’ they get, they’ll be sent one of the three options at random. To ensure their garden vision is precisely as planned, customers should look out for these items in stores.

Home Bargains has nearly 600 stores throughout the UK, including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Customers can locate their nearest branch by using the online postcode tool here, reports the Mirror.

Similar styles of lights are available elsewhere, such as Amazon’s FORUP Solar Garden Stake Lights, which look like realistic sunflowers and extend up to 40cm tall. The two-pack of ‘flowers’ can be ordered online for £23.52.

Shoppers could also choose something different, such as the Set of Two Solar Hyacinth Stake Lights from The Range. This £14.99 set features clusters of pink and purple flowers that “glow for up to six hours on a full charge”.

In other Home Bargains news, shoppers are not only looking to enhance their outdoor spaces but also their interiors. Customers have been impressed by some of the furniture and décor the discount retailer has introduced in recent weeks.

For instance, a £10 ‘timeless’ looking lamp available at Home Bargains could easily be confused with one worth nearly £40 at B&Q. The Home Collections Ceramic Esme Lamp bears quite a similar appearance to the Capan Crackled Round Natural Distressed-effect Table Lamp from B&Q, which costs £38.

Additionally, another interior discovery included a ‘chic’ £30 rug with a ‘luxury’ and ‘modern’ aesthetic that was described as ‘perfect for any room’ – and closely resembled a more expensive item on sale at M&S. The £30 rug could be easily confused with Marks & Spencer’s Anders Rug from Asiatic, which costs £109.
