get a hoya Cumingiana or jasmine there wasn’t a plant name on it and another group i asked on FB are going back and forth on the two so figured ill ask another lol

Cumingiana- I got one of these about a year ago and it died within weeks, the roots looked awful and I suspect it had some mites as well

I was just wondering this as I unwound mine yesterday to reuse the trellis. If it came with two plants/vines do not be surprised if one dies. I see it happen with about 90% of them in big box stores.
I placed mine outside during my ‘winter’ (FL) and it thrived under general neglect. I didn’t water it unless I remembered which was every few weeks and gave it dappled light.

I’ve killed my fair share of cummingiana so of course I bought another one at Lowe’s the other day. 🤣
Oddly, I’ve noticed it’s doing really well. It’s in a location where it doesn’t get a ton of light and it seems to like that. We shall see. 🤞🏼
