Mark your calendar: Mount Vernon’s Tulip Town is celebrating the spring season from March 28-April 30.
Residents and tourists are invited to attend, and so are well-behaved (and leashed) dogs. (Head here for tickets.)
Tulip Town, located at 15002 Bradshaw Rd., is a 30-acre farm that features more than 100 varieties of tulips. Visitors can explore the field on foot, hop aboard a vintage trolley, or wander through the display gardens. There’s also a 10,000-square-foot indoor barn that is ADA-accessible.
Visitors can scan QR codes throughout the fields to identify specific tulip varieties and pre-order bulbs for fall delivery. Visitors can make a wish in Tulip Town’s wishing canal, which benefits the local nonprofit Children of the Valley.
