That meal looks so tasty!😋
Why didn't you remove the willow also, then you would have your focus.
I am always so glad when you are able to do something in your video that helps your day in more than one way…like get dinner prepared. Looked so yummy.❤
We cut our elderberry back every year here in Texas zone 8b. It comes back for sure.
What are your thoughts on the Dewalt battery chainsaw? I'm thinking about buying one but have read reviews of it leaking oil. Just curious if you have experienced that also.
To enhance the look you can cut the willow down to the ground after it ends blooming, this way you dont have to rush with removing it, but it wont block your crabapple.
Oh wow how delicious! What a fabulous dinner!
Hi Laura and Aaron! Great video as always. I have a question for you. Is your sister Monica going to start a cooking channel? I thought it was mentioned a while ago. I would subscribe lickety split as I know a lot of other people would as well. Love your family. 😊
You need to add one piece of equipment. A wood chipper to your equipment shed. That way you can totally chop up all of this and put it in the compost pile to do its thing.
I did those White Swan last year and they are gorgeous!!!! Doing again this year 💚💚💚
Why don’t you just plant the elderberry in another location. Those shrubs/trees are very hardy. You can just plant it somewhere else, water it, some biotone and thats it. It will grow again.
This potato recipe looks yummy! I still make the potato onion gallette recipe you made in another video. That one is a favorite in my house, so I'm definitely gonna try this one too 😀
I think the other elderberry needs to go from that space. In fact that lamppost that Aaron bought you would look great moved to that space.
That elderberry was huge, a great improvement with it edited out.
Did you put something under the fig tree pot so the roots can't grow out into the stones again?
I love how open this corner is, trimming the willow was brilliant!
I if you guys like gratins I highly recommend that you try a broccoli/cauliflower with ham! And use heavy cream instead of milk if you really want it creamy..😄! A full meal and just serve it with a side salad
I was wondering what your feelings are between drip irrigation and soaking hoses for beds in a normal size yard
Loved how purple those potatoes were once you washed off the dust!
Perfect side dish for Saint Patty‘s day, potatoes and leeks! ☘️ Thank you for the recipe .
❤❤❤❤❤
Are the children home schooled? They always seem to be there.
SO FUNNY!!! You said “here we go!” I looked away for 2sec and thought “where’d she go?!” Love the family effort. That’s the way to do it!!
I would recommend getting rid of the Chanticleer Pear while working in that area with the elderberry. I had one in a yard once. That variety drops large limbs and eventually falls apart. While pretty from a distance, they stink when in bloom. So many other, better options.
Dinner looks delicious !!!!
26:07 you're cut out for cooking videos because its real, not faked or staged scenes. Thank you for that.
For the brick line. I say consider moving the last bush and continue the curve to the inside right of the fence post😊
I love how it opened everything up so beautifully. Is elderberry going to Bethany’s house?
I wonder if the lantern would look good as you come down the walkway, placed in front of the crabapple?
I guess Aaron is ok without his ball cap since the ladies went gaga over his hair!!
Started pansys approximately the same time, I noticed yesterday that they have spider mites. Webbing on the back of the leaf. Not all of the leaves. I sprayed them down with an insecticide. They look gone, but need to wait to see. Is this normal for pansys. I also don't see any on other seedlings just the pansys. Thank you for all the information. So helpful
I’m dying laughing at Aaron when he entered then exited quickly in the video, to tell you your face wasn’t in the shot. Great teamwork!! Dinner looked amazing! I’ll have to try the potato and leeks dish. I haven’t ever cooked leeks.
Nice cleanup in the garden too! I love seeing the whole family gettin involved. It looks great!
For the brick edge ending at the tree, could you add a diamond shape out of bricks around it?
Who all burst out laughing at Aaron 🤣🤣. Is it a normal American custom to have fruit on a dinner plate? I've never heard of sweet "dessert" items being on the same plate as the main savoury dinner items
I love the elderberry gone 🙌.
YES a water feature there!! How about that small pond you used to have by the kitchen. You took it out a while back and always said you wanted find a new location for it??
Honestly, I like seeing the kids and people in the background and hearing voices. It's realistic, it's how the rest of us cook, with interruptions and distractions. It's fun!
I will be trying this and it looks amazing.
Such a breath of fresh air seeing that corner of garden where the (messy) elderberry was! Seeing everything is like having a whole new garden! Love seeing that little overshadowed lamppost, too.
mmm that look delicious
Benjamin has become such a little worker, one of the best thing you can teach him.
Where do we find the recipe? Looks wonderful!
I noticed your new pop up bag had a GA tag! 😮 I looked on the website to order one and can’t find it! Maybe that’s just a demo one? When can they be purchased?
Just my opinion. I would remove the pear as well. Weak. Will b
