Can anyone confirm what this plant is? Based of what I've looked up, it's seeming like its poison hemlock, which I stupidly touched (sap too, without gloves) before looking it up. It has the purple stem veins/splotches, doesn't seem hairy, fern like leaves, carrot like taproot, and it did smell very weird when I pulled it up.

This is where I take my dogs out around our apartments so that's why I am trying to figure out what it is.

Located in northern utah, in a ditch/drainage gravel thing by a parking lot.

I’m pretty sure it‘s poison hemlock.

Were the stalks hollow? Is the smell similar to fennel but a little different? Poison hemlock has hollow stalks and when you snap them they are hollow with a very distinctive scent. I hope this helps.
