Gardeners of all experience levels invited to Seedy Saturday at the Campbell River Community Centre, March 21

Seedy Saturday is coming up and anyone looking for seeds, starters, gardening advice and more is encouraged to swing by the Campbell River Community Centre March 21, 2026.

Doors open at 10:00 a.m. with vendors and organisations like Greenways Land Trust set up in the main gymnasium.

There are also three information sessions by expert presenters:

-10:30 a.m., Master gardener Kathy Plato: How to plant trees and shrubs to ensure they have a long and healthy life

-11:30 a.m., Arzeena Hamir: Seed Starting 101. A hands-on session, everyone will go home with a pot planted with something edible!

-12:30 p.m., Helena Gazdik: Native bee expert will be speaking on year-round planting for pollinators- creating a continuous buffet.
