This plant just popped up in the midst of a red yucca. Guessing a result of bird droppings with seeds. It's very robust and prolific. I'm guessing Roma, but figured I'd ask the community.
I agree it looks like a paste (“Roma”-style) variety. It may be tricky to get much more accurate than that because there are so many paste varieties that look and grow similarly.
I’ve heard of a tomato genome project out there somewhere. Maybe someday we can all get cheek swabs from our mystery varieties and find out for sure. 😉
