1st!! Lol
I love that you do these videos for us every year! I’m in MI so it helps a lot and is a good reminder.
Wind here in Michigan took my greenhouse down Saturday hopefully I can get it back up this week. All the seeds ive started are in the house so didnt lose those
Luke, I always enjoy watching your videos. Yes our spring is not here yet but this week in Southern California’s high desert, zone nine a, the next 10 days our temperatures in the 90s mid 90s at bat. It’s too late for me even now. To safely grow a number of crops. The good news is I’m being pragmatic. We have over 200 growing days a year more like 260 270 so I have fall Gardening that I can do. I have tomatoes started, so many tomatoes from MI Gardner. I’ll grow them and harvest before the end of July. Then in August early August, I’ll start the fall crop seeds and harvest probably in October. I keep some indeterminant cherry and slicing tomatoes going that can handle the high heat of many hundred plus days with the help of shade cloth. Thank you again for making Gardening watching fun.
Is trifecta organic?
Garden Therapy, I totally agree
I already started mine (most from y’all) and I’m super excited to get my strawberries 🍓 ❤ gardening in central Indiana.
I live in Midwest Ohio so I love the seed recommendations.
I'm happy that you do these in March. I live in SE Idaho, Zone 4b/5a, and we don't put anything in the ground until May 1st. So, a couple weeks advance notice of what I should plant soon works for me. 😃 I rely on you so keep it up, my friend!
Luke i look forward to these videos every year. Iam only 1hour north of you so if you can plant it now so can I. Thanks for always doing this. Been watching you for many years. Also been buying from you for years. I just made it to your store a few weeks ago.
Awesome your always on time! I learn so much from you thank you as always! 💯🌱
I started my tomatoes 5 days ago and they are already up. How do I stop them from being too leggy
I have had ZERO luck with cabbage and brussel sprouts. I can see now the sprouts I need to do from seed. All I got last year from seedlings I got at a garden center was leaves, and seeds. NOT ONE SPROUT. And cabbage loopers LOVE my cabbage. One year I tried covering with floating row cover and something I don't know what, got in there and rotted every plant from the inside out. It was gross. Guess those I'll just get at the grocery store. Stick to stuff I CAN grow. TOMATOES! Self seed those do. And peppers. Snap peas are in the ground now, and my "salad bed" is doing fine. Herbs, I can do those ok, Oh and garlic. That's about all I do really.
What zone # are you in? You last frost date? Sorry if I missed that info! Love your videos
My seed Potatoes from MI gardener are being delivered today, thanks!❤
Yt is hiding your channel. I checked and still subscribed yesterday still not seeing your video. Question do you still have the metal cattle troff raised beds? Do you think local sourced new ones would work? I would have to cut out the bottom.
Starting seeds is a close second to being out planting my garden!
I’ve been watching you since you were in college…..I purchased your Trifecta Plus several times but now had to move in with my daughter and lost interest in gardening cause my stamina isn’t what it used to be….I did purchase and plant Asparagus where I lived and the current resident will be benefiting from them if they learn how to take care of it….. God bless you and your family…….
I have started my lettuce, collards, spinach, and tatsoi. I'm planting a lot so that I can donate them. The greens my local food pantry gets are usually not that great so I'm helping with that. As a matter of fact, most of the stuff I'm going to be planting this season is stuff that has an incredible amount of yield so that I can help them out. I use a project grow community garden and donating part of our harvest is part of the agreement to rent the plot so I will be trying to donate as much as I possibly can and still store enough for me and my husband. We're doing a lot of squash, a lot of tomatoes, and all sorts of greens all year because those produce so quickly and so abundantly as a cut and come again crop. We're also planning a good bit of beans to supplement proteins and carrots and potatoes to kind of round all that out.
Didn't you just get walloped with snow … May take a bit longer for that garden time.
So timely Luke, I'm starting today as well. It's nice to know I'm on track.
In California we've gone from winter to August. My garden will be destroyed this week with 90°+ heat 😢
Greens and broccoli are toast! 😢
Forget Spring, moving onto Summer crops.
About time. Now, just to get a second mortgage to fill up my gas tank
I started my tomato seeds yesterday
Favorite seeds to start at this time of the year…any of them! I really enjoy just seeing signs of life when it's going on third winter here in Southern Michigan. Helps remind me that true spring is coming
Starting my tomatoes next weekend!
Royal Paste and Amish Paste.
Thank you! Central Minnesota here! Zone 4b, i think. Planting outside in late May
I think I'm a cabbage. We are going from the teens today to almost 90 on Friday. I don't like it. I'm starting more things this year including more flowers. Looking forward to gardening.
So happy to be seed starting!❤
Thanks for the info. Get my seeds from you guys. Excited to start eggplant ❤
Well Luke, it SUCKS over here in Muskegon right now. UGH, winter won't die!!! Thanks for the video.
Ty so much! ❤
3b Saskatchewan… starring at a snow covered garden but loving my indoor seed starting setup!
I always watch you to know when to start. I get caught up watching these southern garden channels that I have to get a dose of reality so I don't go nuts.
Wow I did not know that about brussel sprouts
I LOVE that you do these because I watch so many gardening YouTubers that are in different zones. I was so happy to find a fellow midmichigander and get specific instructions about what I can do and when. Your channel is extremely helpful. PLUS, your seeds have been great so far! My peppers and onions all had a great germination rate and are doing well so far! Can't wait to start the next seeds!
I'm a little north of you, which puts me in zone 5b. Are you sure it's not too early to start tomatoes?
I like you better than Epic Gardening. I feel like your information is better supported. I def learn more here
3 jalapenos and 2 Mexican sunflowers are up from seed so far. Planted Habanero seeds a month ago still nada
More flowers, more produce, less pests!
I'm in New England and find it so hard to get thru winter and get into garden mode. I can't wait past Presidents day to plant something. ANYTHING! It's usually peppers. Oh, garlic is up.
I had a high wind disaster yesterday. Down here in Texas. The way the winds swirled from north to south. Made the winds able to disregard my wind breaks. The tops of my plants looked like they were spun in a 🌀. I lost 12% of my plants.
No worries. I still have time to sow more seeds. Luckily the cold temperature, from yesterday's front, didn't affect anything.
I love the look and size of your greenhouse. Can you please put a link in the description to where you found it online?Or did you buy it locally
