Disney has released new photos showing interior details of the Garden View Lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa ahead of the March 19 opening.
The reimagined space blends Victorian era design with touches from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Alice in Wonderland. The lounge sold out through April 20 in less than one hour when reservations opened February 18.

Natural Light and Windows
Floor-to-ceiling windows are a defining feature of the redesigned space. Natural light fills the room throughout the day, creating what Disney describes as a “sunlit conservatory” atmosphere.

Design Details
Floral patterns, plush fabrics, and green, blue, and gold tones create a garden-inspired atmosphere. Organic shapes throughout the room portray flowers and leaves found in a flourishing garden.
Brass-framed mirrors shaped like flower petals reflect the outdoor garden setting. Stained-glass windows feature native Florida birds, adding color and character to the space.
The carpet design is inspired by winding garden vines and includes hidden details integrated into the pattern.

Table Settings
New photos show the tea service table settings with floral china featuring red botanical designs with gold trim. Navy blue napkins are placed at each setting.
Banquette seating features blue and earth-tone cushions with tables positioned throughout the lounge.
Menu Options
The afternoon tea service includes a menu inspired by Alice in Wonderland, served with Twinings Teas. Adults can choose between traditional tea service or a plant-based option at $79 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
A children’s tea menu is available for $49 per child (ages 3-9), plus tax and gratuity.
The experience includes a selection from eight Twinings Loose Leaf Tea options, an Orange-Cranberry Scone, and a three-tier tower of sweet and savory items.
