The team at Thick as Thieves Entertainment is bringing a new event to Kelowna this spring.
They’re calling it Garden Party Festival, “an open-air celebration of melodic house music, fashion and social connection” that will be held on Saturday, May 9, at City Park.
KelownaNow has confirmed that the event, at least for this year, will be replacing Kelowna Beer Fest, which has taken over City Park on the second Saturday in May for the past three years.

“Garden Party was created to offer a different kind of energy,” explains Kurt Jory, Thick as Thieves founder. “We wanted to design a festival that feels elevated but still full of life, a place where people come not just for the music but the experience as a whole.”
With a dress code of “pearls optional, loafers encouraged,” Garden Party is positioned as “a modern take on a timeless tradition.”
Nora En Pure, often referred to as the Queen of Melodic House Music, will headline a music lineup that will be added to over the coming weeks.
The internationally-acclaimed DJ and producer has performed at marquee festivals like Coachella and Tomorrowland, and held residencies at iconic venues like Privilege Ibiza and Wynn Las Vegas.

Organizers say attendees can also look forward to curated beverage experiences and an atmosphere rooted in style and community.
“Set against the backdrop of Okanagan Lake, Garden Party Festival invites guests into an immersive environment where music, aesthetic and setting exist in harmony,” a Thick as Thieves release says.
“The festival’s visual identity draws inspiration from cinematic romanticism and modern fashion sensibility, creating a setting that feels both nostalgic and distinctly current.”
Presale tickets are now live for anyone who RSVPs through the Garden Party website and more passes will be released in limited drops over the coming days and weeks.
