Do you want to improve your green thumb or just make gardening easier? Technology may be the answer. Join Lexi and Leslie at the library on Thursday, March 19 at 1 p.m. for a free Senior Planet program, “Gardening Tech at a Glance.” We’ll go over some popular apps and explain their common features that will help you with everything from designing your garden to identifying plants and caring for them. Thanks to the Rotary Club of Superior for its financial support of our Senior Planet programs.

Join us for a free mat-based yoga class at the library on March 21 at 10:30 a.m. Led by instructor Jen Rosnau, this all-levels class is for ages 12 and up and will help you build strength, improve flexibility and relieve stress. Bring a mat if you have one. There is no charge for the class, but a donation jar will be available to support library programs.

Come to the library on Monday, March 23 at 6 p.m. for a free showing of the film “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey,” starring Colin Farrell and Margot Robbie as two strangers who have the chance to relive important moments from their pasts, illuminating the path that led them to the present and gaining the opportunity to change their futures. This movie is rated R for language. Closed captions will be enabled.

Water is important for you, me and the trees. Help us celebrate World Water Day at the library on March 25 at 6 p.m. with a special story time with Megan Hogfeldt from the city of Superior’s Environmental Services division and enjoy a variety of children’s books about water.

Join our Page Turners Book Club and enjoy lively discussion with other eager readers. Our book selection for April is “Good Dirt” by Charmaine Wilkerson, a novel about the daughter of an affluent Black family who pieces together the connection between a childhood tragedy and a beloved heirloom. Book club will meet April 2 at 10:30 a.m. and April 30 at 6 p.m. Pick the time that works best for your schedule. Request a copy of the book using our online catalog or by calling the library.
