When I used to sell plants at garden centers, many customers were more concerned with a plant’s survivability, rather than its specific characteristics. “I just want it to live!”

  1. Παρακαλώ θα ήθελα να βάλετε υπότιτλους στα Ελληνικά για να μπορέσω να παρακολουθήσω το βίντεο. Από την Ελλάδα χαιρετισμούς ❤

  2. Your're the first I've heard mention how awful it is to cut back Russian Sage. I have about 15 mature plants and dread cutting them back each year but they are worth it.

  3. This is my garden motto also: "I just want it to live." Thanks for posting this. I agree with many of your choices. Yes, my Sarah Bernhardt peonies are reliable and stunning, but definately need to be staked. I love my Denim n' Lace Russian sage and just ordered 9 more. I'm trying Heliopsis for the first time this year.

  4. I love your channel! I like to stay away from russian sage, d o you think leadplant is a good option?

  5. 8:07 Off topic but in a picture you cut to at that mark there’s a row of 5 or 6 conifers that it looks like you use as a backdrop, what type of trees are those?

  6. That's Great Help – Have a very tough time keeping things growing!!! Thank you very much!

  7. I can't believe you put "Snow on the Mountain" on your list. Once you have it you will never get rid; extremely invasive.
