With spring and summer now right around the corner, many of us can expect the sun to be making more of a frequent appearance. While this can spell plenty of days out in a pub garden, for many others it’s the start of a long few months working in the garden.
One of the most tedious of these chores is frequently mowing the lawn in order to keep the grass from looking overgrown and ruining the rest of the garden’s appeareance. If you have a big garden, this can also take up a lot of time that you may rather spend doing other things.
Fortunately, the advancement in gardening gadgets has led to mowing now essentially becoming automated. The eufy Robot Lawnmower E15 comes with a variety of features that allows it to cut your lawn to a small degree without much interference needed on your part.

While this piece of technology tends to carry an incredibly high price tag, it is currently the subject of a 33% discount, bringing the price down from £1,499 to £999, making it that little bit more financially accessible. For serious gardeners, the eufy Robot Lawnmower E15 allows your lawn to be cut down to a maximum area of 800 metres squared, making it suitable for even larger gardens.
Furthermore, it doesn’t use any wires that could get caught on loose branches or potentially ruin other plants in the garden while it does its work. It also uses high-precision cameras and AI algorithims to allow it to map out your lawn through Wi-Fi or 4G, eliminating the need for boundary wires or an RTK station.
This also allows it to avoid obstacles that it may run into while mowing your lawn, However, if this doesn’t seem the right fit for your garden, you could instead opt for this LawnMaster Cordless Robotic Lawnmower from Argos for £300.

This lawnmower also uses cameras and sensors to help cut the lawn without needing boundary wires and is powered with an electric rotary motor. Otherwise, you can opt for the Flymo EasiLife Robotic Lawnmower, which has gone down from £579.99 to £299.99.
This robotic lawnmower is best for smaller gardens and cut up to 150 metres squared. It also comes with LED indicators to provide quick and easy controls alongside a Bluetooth app for further programming.
People who purchased the eufy Robot Lawnmower praised it for being easy to set up and effective, with one cusotmer noting: “Excellent! Wow! An a amazing bit of kit that saves backache, time and effort. Does exactly what you want it to do without any fuss. I must admit, though, as my husband is a techie, we or he found it easy to programme..

“I would have struggled. Cuts grass, avoids obstacles and dogs, and just does its thing! Brilliant. No regrets here and we are all exceedingly pleased with the time it gives, saves us. I bought this product because I have Eufy vacuum cleaners and their customer service is exemplary.
” Would give 10* if possible. Life, time is so precious, why spend hours mowing when this robo can do it without fuss or effort. Fabulous!”
Another added: “Having had a robot mower for over 18 years and replacing every 3 years I got fed up of rescuing them from the undergrowth and garden borders etc. Laying wires etc. and generally faffing about, always wishing for someone, anyone to make a simple reliable no wire, no RTK aerial, NO FAFFING ABOUT mower which would drive from one lawn to another without any issues. EUFY have done it.

“This is without a doubt the most innovative, completely faff free perfect one. UNBELIEVABLY BRILLIANT and VERY CLEVER design and APP…. All perfect. Stop faffing about trying to decide which one is best and just be amazed. It’s taken over 18 years for simple common sense to tell the boffins exactly what was needed!”
However, not everyone was fully pleased with their purchase, with one customer noting: “Should your Base Station (for recharging) malfunction you cannot purchase another Base Station here in the UK so you could be left with a very expensive mower you cannot use because you cannot charge the mower. I have two separate lawns within 800m2 but can only use the mower on one unless I create a pathway between both lawns.
“Ideally purchasing another Base Station would have solved that problem and that is implied as a solution in the efuy app. I have to consider purchasing another mower for my separate lawn but it will not be another E15!! Other than this issue the mower functions well and generally happy with its performance.”
