An “amazing” cosy cafe at a Bradford garden centre has been praised by locals for its “great selection” of brunch and lunch offerings, not to mention its freshly made scones and cakes.
The Flower Pot Coffee Shop inside ACW Garden Centre on Canal Road (BD2 1AL) says homemade food is its “speciality”.
For those wanting to stop by for a bite to eat, the coffee shop’s menu includes the likes of full English breakfasts, scampi, gammon and chips, and of course, “delicious” pies.

On the garden centre’s website, it shares: “Make a point of visiting our unique Flower Pot Coffee Shop filled with specially selected artefacts.
“We pride ourselves on serving you tasty, home-cooked food with a smile!”
It adds: “Homemade is our speciality, and our ‘Specials Board’ showcases our tempting homemade dishes of the day.
“You can also browse our table menu, which offers everything from a full English breakfast to snack meals, as well as scampi or gammon and chips.
“Or try one of our delicious homemade pies.
“Just a quick stop? Then let us tempt you with a yummy piece of cake and a fresh cup of coffee.”

“Clean & Cosy setting, adequate table seating friendly staff.
“We mainly go for a snack at lunch time for a Bacon roll or a Sandwich love the freshly made Fruit Scones with Clotted Cream & Jam, and a nice pot of tea, also there’s a good selection of Cakes in a display cabinet, some are Gluten Free.”
Someone else put: “Great selection of food for breakfast or lunch, all freshly cooked and excellent value for money.”
They joked: “I’d call more often but I’ll end up spending more money on plants!”
There’s no doubt that when dining at The Flower Pot, you will want to take a peek at the different plants on offer at ACW Garden Centre, especially as spring and summer are just around the corner.

The garden centre states online: “Plants are the focus of our and garden centre.

“If you need any help, we have staff on hand to help and advise you in selecting the right plant for your needs.”
It continues: “In our outside plant areas, we have colourful selections of seasonal bedding plants, planted containers, hanging baskets, conifers, trees, fruit, herbs, seasonal vegetable plants, right through to spectacular specimen plants and topiary.
“We supply many types of compost, feeds and fertilisers. Plus weedkillers and slug bait to keep unwanted pests at bay.
“Starting from scratch? We have a varied selection of seeds and plant propogation supplies.
