GCM Staff Report

Garden enthusiasts will have three days to explore some of the area’s most carefully cultivated landscapes during the Mobile County Master Gardeners 2026 Tour of Gardens.

The annual spring event is set for Friday, May 15, Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. The tour will take place rain or shine at eight different garden locations across Mobile, clustered in three areas: Downtown and Midtown, Springhill and West Mobile and South Mobile County.

Designed and maintained by Master Gardeners, the featured gardens showcase practical “how to” ideas for both small and large spaces. Visitors can expect plantings suited for sun and shade, as well as research-based information on highlighted plants. The self-guided format allows attendees to explore one garden or all eight at their own pace.

The tour falls under several popular spring categories including Home and Garden, Festivals and Fairs and Pursuits and Hobbies, drawing visitors each year who are looking for inspiration and expert insight.

Tickets are $20 per person and on sale now at www.mobilecountymastergardeners.org/2026tour. Tickets may also be purchased at any of the participating gardens during the event.

Because many of the gardens are located at private homes, organizers note that not all locations are guaranteed to be handicapped accessible. Pets, strollers and smoking will not be permitted at the sites.

Additional details, including ticket information and event updates, are available at www.mobilecountymastergardeners.org/2026tour.
