[Cleveland] Season Planning

Last fall I was successful is murdering my entire lawn and purchasing Dethatcher.

My plan for early April is to dethatch and scarify before utilizing more pre emergent. I plan to seed in late April will a seed blend I get from Petittis.

Am I doing anything wrong? I know it's advised to seed in fall but like my lawns kinda jacked up right now.
