I have a monstera that has been neglected and beat up and looking for advice on how to bring her back to her former glory. I'm in Australia, so it's autumn here, but I was thinking off taking top cuttings from the 3 main stems (planned cuts in photos), and propagating in water.

I know it's recommend to cure for 6-8 hours before putting in water, but is there anything else I should know? Am I even on the right track?

Also, I'm not sure what to do with the rest of the plant? Should I move to an outside location and let it grow out for a while before taking more cuttings? Or just take as many cuttings from what's left now and throw the legs in the compost?

Thanks in advance!
