You have my permission to skip a few steps when it comes to growing your own food. It may feel like it’s cheating but actually it’s a much more cost effective and risk free way of growing your own tomatoes in your garden. Whilst this gardening tips is aimed at beginner gardeners, it is worth mentioning for my more seasoned gardeners that seeds in bigger quantities are cheaper in the long run, but sometimes we only want a handful of tomatoes instead of a whole farms worth! #gardeningtips #tomatoplant #tomatoes #growyourownfood #planttips

  1. Yes there is cost, but it’s the fun of it why many people do it. It’s a moot point for gardeners, this video is more for people who just want the tomatoes.

  2. I’ve got saved seeds from the best of my tomatoes last year. That’s a whole different ball game. Most garden centres sell 5? types of seedlings but you can get <40 types as seeds…

  3. I like the wide variety of heirloom seed varieties but I have a couple favorites that have plenty available locally as seedlings so I do a mix depending on what my needs are from year to year. Tomato seeds will last several years… Some seeds don't last very well so look it up before trying to keep part of seeds for next year.

  4. Nothing to do with tomatoes. I want to apologize as I don't mean to be nasty. As a qualified beautician i couldn't help but notice the sharp angles to your eyebrows. By just plucking 2 or 3 hairs on each side it will make your eyebrows look rounded and natural instead of only waxed Sorry again
