(Stephany, a hint for a back-saving gift for Jim: a landscape paint sprayer wand with a wheel). ๐ Love this design; going to use it as a guide for beds in my yard.
Amazing to me that Jim can draw such perfect lines on the ground. So interesting to watch. Thanks for the video. The start of a fun project!
Love that view! Definitely needs to be part of the design. I'd stick a couple chairs in that circle and sit there all day!
Good morning yall werenโt far from me about an hour or so ago canโt wait to see this take shape โค. Mike zone 7b/8a

Thank you Jim, Stephany and Taylor. ๐๐
Barn of Blooms is so charming. Crisp, clean and with sweeping, soul-cleansing views!! I love watching you paint out a garden layout; the access is just perfect.
A lovely design; can't wait to see the plants go in, in what order & learn more about how you plan to use that gorgeous location.
Taylor is beautiful and has many happy, hard-working years of Barn of Blooms ahead of her.
I know a professor at University of Alabama who will love visiting Barn of Blooms (an adorable name) to shop for plants!
60-70 mi outside Atlanta is a great location.
Thank you for taking us along on this project! Watching the process is fascinating and so educational. Appreciate y'all.
What a delightful nursery – that garden is going to be a really beautiful complement to it as well. Love the spirit of the owner!
I can't wait to see what Jim and Stephany design. I watch them all the time. Taylor, you have done a great job .
Looking great! Wish I could do your nice wood chip paths in my backyard, but unfortunately itโs all Bermuda grass. The paths wouldnโt stand a chance.
I canโt tell you how much this helps watching you Jim make a garden layout! This is awesome! Love the drone shots! Yes, itโs a beautiful place!
Hi Jim and Steph ๐ This is going to be great! Fun and exciting!! Thank you for taking us along. Jen Z9b Texas Gulf Coast
Thank you for sharing. I plan on visiting the Spring Market. I live north of Birmingham and the drive through this area is beautiful. I also plan on spreading the news!!
Are the paths wide enough for equipment? I believe you mentioned a potted tree in the center. Wonโt they need to move large, concrete pots with motorized equipment?
Going to enjoy watching this project come into being. Yeah to springtime! ๐๐ท๐๐ชด
Wow, really like the look and spread of that huge deciduous tree up on the hill. Couldnโt tell from the video, is it an oak of some sort? May have potential in the future for a dry shade garden underneath it.
The drawing at 7:51 reminded me of the little pieces you'd have to put into the old 45s so it could be played on the old record players.๐ On topic– Looks like a great design and can't wait to see it laid out and planted! ๐
I would definitely get it graded and smoothed out before doing anything otherwise you will regret it later, theyโll be low spots that hold water. Few hrs with a skid steer will save a lot of water management headaches in the future.
Any updates from The Gardens of Southeastern North Carolina coming?
wow looking forward to coming to see this sometime.
Jim, you need to get a small line painting machine so you don't have to bend over so much and lose your breath.
Can't wait to see you starting to do the layout and planting.
Yโall need to come check out Packโs Nursery in Boaz, AL if yall are around northeast AL again!
It is always great to see the start of a new project. I really like the Fallopian Tube design; but will a thick layer of wood chips near the ovaries cause problems?
Have you considered a water feature in the middle?
