Don’t have a truck but need a trellis?!
.
Here’s just one way we figured one out!
In some areas, you can order cattle panels to be delivered from your tractor supply or Lowe’s!
But if you only have a car, this was how we moved a half cattle panel.
I have a luggage rack which gave me points to attach the panel to that weren’t going to scratch my cars paint but a quilt and some truck straps through your open windows could* work too π
.
.
Once you get a cattle panel, you can use it for years and years and I even built a greenhouse out of mine!

I was thinking about how to trellis stuff today. Got a couple beds planted. I'll try this. I use paracord alot to tie panels, fencing, and gates.
Thanks for this good idea π‘
I wrestled with 16 footers and they're nice once up but this is such a great design. I'm using it!
When I purchased a dozen T-posts from Tractor Supply @ 183 & New Hope, they gave me a bag of clips for free. For the 16 foot panels, find a friend or neighbor with a big trailer π
Harbor Freight has stainless steel zip ties. They're gonna get hot but they won't melt!
Short and to the point! Love this channelβ€
I love this! I think I'll try it this year π
The t-post clips come with the t-posts when you buy them at Tractor Supply. Ask for them.
Take bolt cutters with you, buy the 16 footer, $5 more. Cut in half and you have 2 8 footers
If you buy a bundle of the t posts you get the clips for free
great job
Looks great!! Thanks for the gardening tips πππ
I want the 16 foot panel to make a larger arch, but it's hard to transport so I'm considering what else I can buy to meet the minimum cost for delivery from Lowe's.
How did you connect to your car?
