I only watch a couple of channels. Besides you guys, its Wild Wonderful Off Grid. They are currently self building (for the most part) an addition to their A-frame home. They finished the A-frame portion a couple of years ago.
the other reno/DIY creator I enjoy watching is Living to DIY with Rachel Metz. her & her husband live in Joshua Tree, California and are creating a beautiful desert oasis. I also love Caroline Winkler but she’s more interior design DIY

Just curious, why not put plywood down in the upper area and use it for extra storage?
On ur stairs u could widen the treads they are to narrow for feet lol i believe if u tried to put wider treads it really would help! 😊

I’m hoping that spray foam is the fire retardant type that you sprayed around the wiring? If not, most spray foam is flammable and not recommended around electrical.

You could put stairs on the outside off the deck so the basement can be somewhat separated and you do t have to deal with a location for stairs inside.

I still enjoy Anne of All Trades. As a woman who does DIY, and often alone, you all inspire me! Though, you all still have YOUTH on your side, and I just pretend while I try to forget my own age!

35:01 I say this every time I am closing the potato chip bag, or bread bag, or any food storage etc…. 😂
I said it to my young niece 10 years ago, when I was storing some food in a zip lock and I pushed all the air out first then sealed it. She was like “what”? So I explained. And till this day, 10years later, she says it every time she closes any food storage containers or bags of chips etc… But, she learned from that saying! Because in many cases, air is indeed the enemy! LoL
Wouldnt it be possible to have a little storage part in that atticy crawlspace? Loving the content!

I’m usually a silent viewer and never comment on videos, but I really wanted to recommend Colin and Paige. They are such a cute, genuine couple who recently bought land and are learning to build their own house from scratch with zero prior experience.
