Those sprouts look great! What will you eat them with?
Those sprouts look great, I must give them a go. I'm looking forward to growing some sweet peppers & little gem lettuce too. Thank you for your helpful videos 👍 🌱
Nice one ! … I thought you maybe growing them on to a full herb ? … just a thought (they store well if dried out when harvested at maturity)
Thank you!
Salad spinner gets rid of the husks x
You can get big bags of mung beans, whole lentils in Asian isle of supermarket dirt cheep, you can sprout those too.
I grew these years ago. Like eating a lot of garlic, I found I definitely wiffed a bit for a couple of days after eating them
The best way fenugreek works for me is in jars, getting rinsed daily. I purchase the big bags for around £6 from Amazon. I also do this with alfalfa, mustard etc.
👍
Hi Ivan. I used to buy whatever compost and think there wasn’t much difference, but over recent years for potting on and using in a targeted manner I’ve been using Melcourt SylvaGrow and have had better results. It’s not cheap, but it works. In my mind it’s worth the extra few quid. (And I avoid using secondary fertiliser like BF&B)
Thanks Ivan, very interesting to see how quickly those fenugreek seeds have sprouted, keep up the great work mate. Take care and all the best. Stevie
What are you growing in the greenstalk? I've just got one x
I grow them in a 2 litre plastic bottle, drill holes , soak seeds , leave in dark place ready in a few days. Try it
