The plant has been flourishing in full bloom twice. It's now dying (just the flowers). How do I prune it etc? To keep this good streak going. Thanks for your help! I water it until it's all drank 1-2 times a week. It gets a great amount of sun. It came potted from the nursery so I am unsure on soil.

Hydrangea are not indoor plants and require full outdoor blazing sun to survive. Unless you have a decent grow light that can mimic full sun, this plant will slowly perish. It wants to be in the ground outside. They are fairly hardy.
The flowers will die, that’s how flowers do. Just cut the flower stem.
Nip off flowers the dead ones!
Plant it outside it’s not meant to be a houseplant!
