Hello!

I bought this Monstera a year and a half ago.

I replanted it once and placed a moss pole to support the plant.

It stands next to a large bright window, however I’m not sure it’s thriving…

It has nice aerial roots but I feel like there’s something I’m missing here.

Do you have any advices?

Thank you!! ☺️

is it always kept in the shade? ideally it should be directly in front of the window, its looking quite leggy which means it hasnt gotten enough light.

    Ditch the zips
    Get velcro strips

    (I’d also get a grow light 🙂 )

Move it closer to the windows it needs more light on the leaves that will help it not be so leggy.

The pole you have is technically a coir pole, not a moss pole. If you’re just using it as support then that’s perfectly fine but if you’re trying to get your monstera to root into the pole you would need to get an actual moss pole.

I agree with what other people said about trying to give your Monstera more light via moving it closer to the window or getting a grow light.
