  1. Just missed this – was out at the allotment making the most of the sunny weather

  2. Hi Huw, I have been trying to find that video you made some months ago going over your new book. It was a great video but I cant find it! Can you share the link?

  3. Just ordered it, adding it to my Huw collection! You have changed and educated how I garden and provide for my family, thank you chaps! 😊

  4. Really nice i weld Sam. As an ex chef from Spain with a nice little city garden in Cardiff (about the size of the one you're sitting in). It's nice to see both ends of the chain sitting next to each other.

Your book is the only thing on my birthday list…

    P.s.
I'm currently playing chicken with frost dates.

  5. Book ordered. I've been waiting for a book that can help me also look forward to working in the kitchen. Thank you for your dedication.

  6. In stead l of self sufficient, I like the term Creator reliant. Your modern smart phone is not near as complex as the earth and all of it's systems. You would never walk through the woods, find a smart phone and come to the conclusion that it must have made itself? Complex systems have to have minds behind them. Creator designed, messed up by man, soon to be set back as designed by Jesus. Thanks for you videos, they are helpful

  7. Bummed I missed this, was out planting willow on my permaculture course and totally missed the stream, PLEASE do an other one of these I think I speak for the whole community when I say we would really like another QnA video

  8. Ouch! Just missed it. Was engrossed in planning sowing for the next two months. I have had message the book will be in my postbox tomorrow. Will probably wake up early to listen for Father Xmas XXX no, the postman! Looks like you had fun making this video. ❤ Now I will enjoy your book party 😉

  9. I have the first book and just ordered the second. I live in California and the climate is much different than Wales, so I appreciate the new organization based on frost dates. I'm also looking forward to the recipes because I have become much more adventurous in cooking since I have been able to have a larger garden with a real variety of crops.

  10. 17:00 frost dates. It will be very good to know what you think – is The Last Frost Date or the average last frost date what we should think about for when to start seeds indoors in cold climates?

  11. 48:00 The Fermentation Kitchen is one of my favourite kitchen books! After years of sourdough and sauerkraut, it is great to find out why and how to do stuff that enrich the cooking to another level.

  12. Cooking starts when you sow your seeds. That´s why whenever a chef says what variety of a veg is the best, I get the seeds. Will love your advice! Thank you!

  13. Hi guys, quickly read thru the book – it's great. Sam's kitchen masterplan goes above and beyond. The planting guides are great for someone like me that tends to over plant. Sam's recipes look like most of them can be veganised. I've tried to leave a review on Amazon but unfortunately they won't let me, I'll check back in a few days. Well done, a really useful reference book.

  14. Hi Huw,Sam. I’m sure you’re aware, but in case you did not notice, the camera on your iPad was on the mirror setting and not the non-mirror setting, so the book writing was all in reverse.
