My beautiful Silver Princess tree split today in high winds 😭
I have removed the split branch and now seeking advice.. can the tree be salvaged ? Do I need to cut the whole thing back below the split, or further to the base? Or just leave it. Any advice would be greatly.. 🙏🏼

Eucalyptus caesia are pretty good at regeneration because they have lignotubers. I would leave it but if the other branch becomes unstable then you can cut it off or even at the ground and let it grow back.
