It was in a plastic store pot in the yard when we moved in. I just put it in the ground but have no idea what it is. I think pigs ear based off of google searches but know very little about plants.
No, that’s a jade. They get more red when in more sun.

Jade. Be prepared for what you have done here 😀 Jades grow big and strong. If you don’t have enough room here then you might wana give it a bit more roomier spot.

Does it stay above 10° all year long where you live? I believe in-ground they can handle some temporary dips. If you have a cold winter you may need to give it added protection.Â
If you do live in a warm climate, yeah, it’ll grow well.Â
