A portion of this tree on the top of a hill in my backyard has already broken off due to high winds, barely missing the roof. My landlord refuses to pay the quotes that now 3 arborists have given him to remove it. If this tree were to fall, it would fall directly on the house. We’re projected to get 60-70 mph wind gusts during storms tonight. Can someone calm my nerves and tell me it won’t fall so I can sleep tonight?

There’s nothing for the wind to catch, doubt it’s going to fall anytime soon.
Its not your house? Then its not your problem. He’d be responsible for fixing the house, your rental insurance is (likely) responsible for putting you in a hotel.
Unless someone gets hurt. Then your landlord is probably screwed.
Landlord Policy: Covers structural repairs and lost rent (fair rental income coverage) if a covered incident (fire, storm) occurs.
Renters Policy: Covers the tenant’s personal property and “additional living expenses” (ALE), such as hotel stays, meals, and temporary housing.
Exceptions: A landlord might pay for a hotel voluntarily, or if the damage was caused directly by the landlord’s negligence, but they are not generally required to by their insurance policy.
