New 2 ft M. deliciosa from our local conservatory, repotted with coco coir.

Had some kitties nibbling on leaves so I put a cage and a clear plastic bag over top – for all parties' safety.

Damp, greenhouse effect from the bag caused the fruiting bodies.

I'm assuming the mushrooms are an amazing sign of my gardening prowess, but plant daddy says I'm going to kill it.

Seeking advice regarding having it covered indoors, if the mushrooms are a problem, and how to keep kitties from chomping. Tysm!!

    I had a couple as well they are harmless it means that soil is flourishing. Up to you if you remove or keep. Mine grew quite a bit. Wouldn’t risk eating out cooking
