The visitor attraction’s ‘Growing Green! Seed Planting Workshop’ and ‘Garden Guessing Game’ events take place across two sessions on Saturday and Sunday, March 14 and 15, at 12pm and 2pm respectively.

Participants will begin their journey in the Garden Classroom, where they will join the Head Gardener, Karoly, for an interactive seed planting workshop. Guests will have the opportunity to sow their own seeds, choosing between vibrant nasturtiums or cheerful sunflowers. Each participant can name their own plant and decorate a personalised name tag, creating a meaningful keepsake to take home and nurture.

Following the workshop, visitors will step into the Glasshouse for the ‘Battle of the Sniffs’ sensory challenge game. Participants will test their sense of smell using fragrant blooms and surprising scents in a game of laughter, discovery, and friendly competition.

This unique St Patrick’s weekend event offers a wonderful opportunity to celebrate nature, creativity, and community in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

The workshop costs €10 per person, with standard entrance rates applying for non-workshop visitors. Booking is essential as places are limited.
