Home Bargains customers can bring an “effortless” upgrade to their outdoor spaces with a convenient set of solar-powered lights that are free to run and provide a warm glow for hours. It’s said that this collection of string lights, priced at under £20, offers an “eco-friendly” way to brighten up patios and gardens.

The Firefly Bright Filament String Solar Lights come in a pack of 10 bulbs and provide a “bright, eco-friendly, and simple to use” choice for those looking to refresh their gardens in preparation for spring and summer. The Home Bargains lights are more affordable than similar products from leading high street retailers like B&Q.

The DIY store is selling Solar Clear Filament LEB Bulb Lights on a two metre string for £18.99. The images and product description do not confirm how many bulbs are included in the pack, but it appears to be a similar amount to Home Bargains.

Describing the cheaper warm white collection online, a Home Bargains spokesperson said: “Light up your evenings with the Firefly Solar Light Co Bright Filament String Solar Lights! These eco-friendly beauties offer a vintage glow, automatically illuminating your outdoor space at dusk for effortless charm at your next gathering.

“Equipped with a rechargeable lithium battery, the lights offer long-lasting illumination and are powered by the included remote solar panel for easy setup. They automatically turn on at dusk, so you can enjoy effortless lighting without the need for timers or switches.”

Described as “perfect for patios, gardens, or outdoor gatherings”, the collection can be purchased online for £14.99. Alternatively, customers could see whether these solar-powered lights are stocked at their nearest Home Bargains branch, reports the Mirror.

Home Bargains sells a range of practical solar-powered lights. Customers can browse the complete selection here, including more traditional choices and those that add a touch of fun and character to outdoor spaces.

Shoppers can also see the entire outdoor range, which is gradually being introduced to Home Bargains’ stores, both in person and online. The budget retailer is offering a variety of essential products, including plants, decorative items, outdoor furniture, toys and games.

In other Home Bargains news, for those looking to improve their home’s interior, an extensive range of homeware and furniture is available in stores and for online home delivery. The discount store is selling a ‘chic’ £30 rug that is ‘perfect in any room’ and looks remarkably similar to a £109 option available at M&S.

The rug could be an option for anyone attempting to stick to a budget while wanting a ‘luxury’ and ‘modern’ aesthetic in their home. It combines shades of blue, grey, and cream, and features a “stunning” geometric design.

Meanwhile, B&M is proving to be a practical and affordable alternative to many high street names when it comes to furniture. Recently, its £25 IKEA-style shelving unit with “rustic charm” was said to be cheaper than the Swedish alternative that costs £50.

The Simply Panelled Six Cube Shelving Unit is available in a light oak-effect wood finish and costs half as much as the renowned flat-pack unit. It boasts a versatile design that could be used in virtually any room requiring additional storage, and features panelled extras not typically offered as standard by IKEA.
