With the warmer nights on the way, I’m already thinking ahead to late nights in the garden, and an outdoor light can be just the thing to help you make the most of more time outdoors. And, I’ve spotted one unique outdoor light from Next that is perfect for adding some ambience, and shoppers have said it’s “gorgeous”.
The spherical light has a concrete effect that, when turned off, might look more like a decoration. However, it’s actually solar-powered and runs for six to eight hours (based on an eight-hour solar charge). That means you don’t have to worry about plugging it in or having too many long wires showing (though the solar panel is connected to the light by a short wire).
The light comes in two sizes, small for £35 and medium for £60. According to customers, it arrives partially charged and emits a “bright light” at full capacity, reports the Liverpool Echo.
On the Next website, it has garnered a high 4.7 out of five-star rating. One customer wrote: “Love it. Looks gorgeous at night.”
Another satisfied buyer wrote: “Looks very nice in my garden. I bought a large and a small one. Very nice effect.”
A third customer commented: “So far so good. Very easy to install, looks great. They came partly charged, so it was nice to see the effect on the first day. Winter is now, so not charging much. Looking forward to seeing them in the summer and seeing how long they last – I have had them a week now.”
However, one customer said: “I personally don’t think it looks like concrete and is quite expensive for what it is.”
