A POPULAR garden centre in Warrington is set to keep children entertained over the Easter holiday, with a packed programme of activities and events.
Spring is on its way, and with it comes the Easter holidays when families are searching for activities to fill their days with.
Bents Garden and Home, on Warrington Road in Glazebury, is set to host a range of events to help with just that.
Before the holidays begin, the garden centre will be filled with crafting, music and an interactive performance for children aged one to four on March 31 and April 1 between 9.30am and 10.30am.
Then on April 4, a mini petting farm is set to return to Bents, where visitors can meet a variety of four-legged animals between 10am and 2pm.
For those looking to get crafty, you can decorate and personalise ceramics on April 7, 9, 14 and 16 between 10am and 1pm.

Budding chefs can roll up their sleeves and make their own pizza, freshly baked in Bents’ wood-fired oven on April 7, 13, and 14 between 10am and 1pm.
Between 9.30am and 11am on April 7, young creatives can take part in a hands-on workshop where they’ll learn how to create their own pinch bowl, which can be decorated and taken home.
Book lovers can enjoy a special story-telling session with author, Noamaan Wilson-Baig on April 9 at 9.30am.
Finally, on April 17, little gardeners can get hands-on and make their own bee-themed plant pot sticks and plant calendula seeds to take home in a session with Warrington Youth Zone between 10am and 2pm.
In addition to all of the planned activities, the covered beach and outdoor play area are both free and will be open throughput the holidays.
