I’ve had a few closed jar terrariums for a while now, this being the smallest one, but I’m still super new to the hobby so I apologize if I’m asking something dumb/obvious.
I started this guy with a patch of moss, and it’s grown this bright green stuff around the inside over time (the original moss appears to have died, included a pic of the top and bottom).
My main question is, is this some kind of mold/anything harmful? Should I consider this a failure or keep seeing what happens to it? Right now it seems rather dry, but I’m afraid to open it and expose whatever spores it has to open air.
Any advice is super appreciated, thanks so much!

Need help identifying a mold or fungus? That can only be achieved using professional sampling methods and laboratory analysis. Your environment is too wet. if it’s a wet environment purposely it needs ventilation.

Just algae, normal from moisture consistently present in the drainage layer. No harm, but can be scraped away if you don’t like the look of it.
