These flowers have been growing in my grandma's yard for over a decade. They always come back in springtime. Just can't remember which flower they were.

In the second picture, there's two different types of flowers and we can't remember which ones they are too.

Flowers 1: the purple/white/purple-white softer/curvy petal flowers
Flower 2: the light purple flat-ish/pointy looking petal flower from second picture.
Located in Midwest, US.

Thanks in advance!

The purple, white, and purple/white flowers are all Crocus! They are not Crocus Sativus which is the source of saffron, those bloom in the fall.

I want to say the flat purple is an aster? I’m probably not correct on that one though.

All except the flat purple daisy-type one are crocuses. Crocuses come in purple, white and yellow and tell you that Spring is just around the corner!

These are a type of crocus, but they are not the kind that saffron comes from (Crocus Sativus).
