I saw the last few minutes and then came back for the beginning and Danny's update. Welcome to the Deep South where too many doctors are pitiful and they don't care. I know a good one for chronic kidney disease (not Danny's challenge) and a fantastic one for the heart. I use a nurse practitioner.
I weeded and replanted carrots yesterday. Then covered them with wood. I finished that row with beets. Then we had a night of wonderful rain. I put seeds in cups this afternoon and they are outside. Eugene played on the Kubota. It was easier to pull up the brush from wet ground, but it wasn't muddy.

Thank you so much for answering my question about lowering my pH. It came just in time because I had just tested my soil that I put in my raised bed and it said it was high so I looked up and it said to add sulfur, but I just wanted to make sure to ask the expert in sweet potatoes. I have ordered some and it should be here in a couple of days. Since my last frost date isn’t for a little while, I have plenty of time to amend the soil.
Having to watch later because I had to go to my late husband’s uncles funeral, he was 94 years old. Glad to see you both are doing well

Sunday through Wednesday am we had steady rains and 2.1”. Wednesday night into early Thursday am we received another 1.4”. So yeah! Soil test probe displayed that the soil was soo dry still 😢

I had a pack of mixed wild flower seeds and dumped lots in a big pot, to see whatd happen.They were absolutely gorgeous and already back this year. I didn’t waste any money. They were like 30 cents at dollar store.😊 Just in case you get tired of your potted flowers dying.

Three things to check out for kidney stones. Chanca piedra /stone breaker, D mannose, and horsetail tea. My husband was put on Flomax for kidney stone which didn't work, so… This did…. and he passed an extra stone they didn't know about. Natural works better. Also, look at the foods you eat, and research oxalates in foods. Read Sally K. Norton's book: "Toxic Superfoods". Good Luck Danny! God bless.

Three days clear apple juice and water nothing else. Night of third day drink one half cup fresh squeezed lemon juice no water added with one half cup extra virgin olive oil. The only way I was able to get it down is by mixing the oil and lemon juice and getting it really cold then stir it like crazy and guzzle. I was doing it for gall stones so I took some laxative also but you may not need to do that on top of it. I can't do it any more because I am diabetic now and the apple juice would do a number on me. It works. The apple juice softens the stones and the lemon juice forces contraction while the oil lubricates the tubes. Gall stones range from pea green to dark brown but bladder stones are clear so you need to pee through a strainer. Best of luck to you.

Can anyone explain to me why chickens would be so finicky when eating the greens you give them? Ours will not eat brassica leaves, they will pick from the forage we plant and not eat the pea plants that are new. They finally started eating the barley but use to refuse it. They get to free range in areas so it's not like they are locked up with only chicken feed. Just a reminder these are fresh greens not those that have been in the ground forever so they are small and not tough. They use to love amaranth but now they turn their nose up. Please Help Me understand what I am doing wrong.
