Barchester Healthcare has opened its latest care home – Darcy Gardens in Bath, Somerset.
Its 68-bed setting, which will offer residential support, respite stays and dementia care, will provide lounges, cinema room, activity room, bar/café, private dining and gardens. It will also offer a programme of ‘life enrichment’ activities.
Barchester’s commercial director, Simon McCall, and senior general manager, Agnieszka Musial, hosted an opening event, which was attended by the deputy mayor of Bath, Cllr Ian Halsall, and invited guests.
‘We are delighted our home is now open, our residents are at the heart of everything we do at Darcy Gardens, and we look forward to welcoming them and their families, and becoming an active part of the local community,’ said Musial.
‘We take pride in really getting to know each of our residents to provide tailored care and support, ensuring dignity and choice in every aspect of daily life.’
